Oil well productivity can be measured using the Gas Liquid Cylindrical Cyclone (GLCC) system.
The GLCC separates oil, water, and natural gas at the well head and we are able to measure the amount of crude oil and natural gas production from the well head.,
Traditional methods for separation are based on retention time in a tank. This method is inefficient since building a tank for separation based on varying composition of oil and water over time can change rapidly.
When production increases, the oil will not have enough time to separate from the water and end up in the water leg of the tank.
